Predatory Blogging in Maine

High Heel Boys (and girls)

I wasn’t a very good hippie in the 60’s or 70’s. I was educated as a classical musician,  a bit of a Jesus freak,  too proletariat to be a love child.

I didn’t even like rock n’ roll. (!!)

But I do remember a line from a tune called “Low Spark of High Heel Boys” by “Traffic”.  (I’m not sure if this was because I liked the lyrics, or only because I could actually understand them)

The Traffic line went:

“If you had just a minute to breathe and
they granted you one final wish,
Would you ask for something like another chance?
Or something similar as this? Don’t worry too much
It’ll happen to you, as sure as your sorrows are joys”

Well,  I guess we’ve had some pretty joyful times. Let’s hope we learn from them.

  1. Hi Linda, (Not Bro),

I’ve been reading through your many interconnected blogs and enjoyed every single one of them. I’d love to say that I could find someplace where you were wrong but as yet haven’t found anyplace! You are a hero.

  2. “Hero?” Thanks.

    (I thought I was just an incorrigible bitch….) 😉

Dutson caused so many innocent people to suffer. I’m glad it’s over.
